Hewitson Estate welcomes you to stay in one of our guest rooms and suite
Restored from the original 160 year old homestead on the Estate, our accommodation provides an opportunity to stay on a working vineyard and winery in the epicentre of Barossa Valley. Take in the Hewitson Cellar Door’s unparalleled views over the vineyard while enjoying a glass of wine.Â
The homestead has been architecturally designed into three separate living areas comprising two Guest Rooms (CRUSH and PRESS) and a Guest Suite (FERMENT) which can be booked below either individually or collectively (WINERY SUITES). The FERMENT guest suite has a communal area making it ideal to incorporate into bookings of two or more groups.
We offer 10% discounts on any purchase of our wines, or local cheese platters, at the suites by simply joining our wine club. Guests receive privileged access to our Old and Rare Museum wine cellar otherwise only available to Private Cellar Club Members.

CRUSH and PRESS GUEST ROOMS ($295 per night)
The CRUSH and PRESS Guest Rooms are a contemporary space, beautifully furnished for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Our guest rooms and winery are environmentally sustainable using 100% solar energy. Any booking that includes a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night needs to be a 2 night minimum stay.
The rooms include:
• A king sized bed and adjoining en-suite
• All-natural fibre quality bed linens
• A fridge stocked with super-premium Hewitson wines
• A Nespresso coffee maker, kettle with a selection teas, milk & sugar
• Supplies for a light breakfast of muesli and natural yoghurt
• A flat-screen television, reverse cycle A/C and free wifi
• Leif Body Products
All guests at our accommodation receive complimentary wine tastings at our Cellar Door.Â

FERMENT SUITE ($395 per night)
The FERMENT SUITE is a contemporary space, beautifully furnished for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The Suite opens to a living room with a window bench seat with remote control curtains and a flat screen television. This adjoins a dining area with electric fireplace and a kitchenette. Our guest rooms and winery are environmentally sustainable using 100% solar energy. Any booking that includes a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night needs to be a 2 night minimum stay.
The room includes:
• A king sized bed and adjoining en-suite
• All-natural fibre quality bed linens
• A flat-screen television in bedroom and lounge areas
• Reverse cycle A/C and free wifi
• A fridge stocked with super-premium Hewitson wines

The WINERY SUITES comprises the Guest Rooms, CRUSH and PRESS together with the adjoining FERMENT Suite, with a communal area large enough for all guests to meet relax. Collectively area has 3 en-suite bedrooms, a dining and lounge area along with a kitchenette. Our guest rooms and winery are environmentally sustainable using 100% solar energy. Any booking that includes a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night needs to be a 2 night minimum stay.
The Guest Rooms include:
• A king sized bed and adjoining en-suite
• All-natural fibre quality bed linens
• Towel warmers and Leif Body Products
• A fridge and mini-bar including super-premium Hewitson wines
• A flat-screen television, reverse cycle A/C and free wifi
The Suite also includes:
• A flat-screen television in the lounge room
• A dishwasher, sink with hot and cold water, toaster, toastie sandwich maker, microwave
• A kettle with teas, milk & sugar, Nespresso coffee maker and a light breakfast

For an evening under the stars and the perfect way to savour the fresh Barossan air, Winery Suite guests have access to our Fire Pit Kit ($175).
The experience includes:
• Three bottles from our Every Day Treats
• One fire pit platter with assorted local cheese, estate grown figs, marinated olives and crackers.
• Fire pit, fire wood and kindling.
