Reviews

"The blend for this absolutely delicious GSM is 51% Grenache, 30% Shiraz and 19% Mourvèdre. The team use 70% whole bunches and the fruit comes from a range of vineyards in the Barossa, including some dating back into the 1800s. Purple crimson in hue with a slight blue haze, the nose gives us notes of florals, spices, blueberries, cherries, raspberries and a range of red fruits. Beautifully crafted, there is such a seductive texture here, through to silky tannins. A wine of excellent length and balance, it will provide pleasure for at least the next decade. Love it. This is fantastic value. 94 Points" - Ken Gargett, Wine Pilot

"A consistent and engaging wine year in year out. Miss Harry boasts Barossa-style generosity, but first, some swishes of the air to get things going. Scents are lively in red berries, mulberry, blueberry and anise spice. Brings it home on a palate filled with grenache-style florals, potpourri and violet amid shiraz ripe black fruits, plum and blueberry and the subtlety of mourvèdre spice and orange peel. Built around an attractive, fine-edged tannin structure with lively acidity, it’s good to go, especially if you are considering matching it to food. 93 Points" - Jeni Port, Wine Pilot

"Sweetly ripe and inviting, the bouquet shows dark plum, raspberry, star anise, and rich floral aromas, followed by a silky-smooth palate that's juicy and beautifully rounded. Splendidly supported by fine tannins, making it well-balanced and fabulously drinkable. 93 Points" - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

"Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro. Fruit melange, tomato leaf and sugo, gravel, white pepper, umami hints, blue fruits and sandalwood. Lithe, mid-weight and spiced. Unencumbered by oak, fruit is the focus here. Dark and blue melange with finely meshed tannins that click neatly in place. Perfect weight for Szechuan beef short ribs. 92 Points" - Regan Drew, Wine Pilot

"A Grenache/Shiraz/Mourvèdre blend from several vineyards averaging out agewise at 75 years, proportions unspecified on the label but its ruby colour and fragrant aromas tell of a definite Grenache dominance, a cherry danish pastry note perhaps and a shot of Aperol beside it. The attraction to drink is irresistible with a gentle approach to its swirl of black cherry and spice flavours, the palate smoothly rubbed towards a faint gastronomic bitters note in the finish. Plenty of backbone, yet eternally soft-hearted. 92 Points" - Tony Love, Wine Pilot

"This Grenache, Shiraz & Mourvèdre blend is a vibrant ruby purple with fragrant exotic spice and a lick of savoury oak. It is warmth enveloped in richness yet with a medium bodied chalky palate and some fruit freshness. These wines coax a savoury almost salty minerality that is juicy and moreish. It literally hums with chalkiness and finishes with a spicy tingly finish, punching well above its weight." - Annette Lacey MW, Wine Pilot
